Netflix ist ein super Beispiel eines Monopols, das jungen Leuten das Leben raubt. Die Anzahl an Usern, die sich mit durchschnittlicher Qualität zufrieden geben müssen - nur meine Vermutung btw - weil die Geschäftsführung lieber ihr Geld in Wege investiert, um soviel von dir zu lernen wie möglich. Ein digitaler Klon, der dir das Mindeste gibt, nicht das Beste.

It sounds crazy, but I do feel discriminated against. There isn‘t much I want to see, it‘s a handful of sitcoms and cartoons that I loop in rotations of 22.747945205 rewatches per episode, season, and finally episode again, a sprinkle of winter season for Harry Potter, a wiggle of mood for The Office, and the most potent of all: X (this is where your brain adds another show [never tell it to anyone you don‘t trust!]. You get what I mean, right?).

If I then have to pay a monthly subscription of a bazillion Euros to neither own nor find the material I actually want to see, I do wonder whether I could indirectly force Netflix to quantify the class imbalance their most active users are biased towards.

It‘s quite simple, really. You get Y number of people to sign an ownership agreement and collectively submit a GDPR request. In parallel, you survey the participants in a controlled experiment on their usage behavior to complement the provided data of their data-protection department (which 1000000000% will have absolutely no useful information). Even if they provided everything, you could correlate the qualitative experiment results to the quantitative investigation, and do even funnier stuff with it.
